Split Elm Equestrian
Split Elm's first section has a 19 stall barn and five 2-3 acre
fields. One field is the main riding arena and the other three are
used for turnout. This barn also features a 50 x 150 indoor arena
complete with rubber footing, surround sound, cameras
accessible from home and ceiling fans. Split Elm's second barn
has a 23 stall barn and six paddocks. This barn features trails, a
7/8 mile sand race track, two riding rings and a small pond. The
idea for the Split Elm name came from the presence of a
magnificent elm tree located at Split Elm I. Split Elm l also
features a large lounge for boarders. The Lounge is available to
be rented out for parties, and is the used for summer camp,
Shore Riders Pony Club and 4h activities! Split Elm is a
preserved horse farm and is registered as such with the state
of NJ. We are inspected on a yearly basis.
Dollies Copper King - 2006  
15.3h AQHA gelding. Copper is
a seasoned jumper and has
evented through novice. He is
a very easy going gelding who
will try just about any job from
polocrosse to western. Copper
is leased by Maria.

Aims Frozen Asset - 1993 16h
American Quarter horse. Willy
is a seasoned western and
english show horse. He is very
fun to canter and is the
smoothest horse on the farm.
Willie is leased by Mare.

Coco Chanel - 2000 14.1
Quarter Horse. She is a great
pony who excels at polocrosse,
games and jumping. Coco has
done it all from western to
eventing. Coco is leased by
Quinn.

Little Big Man- 2000 14.3
Quarter Horse. Cutter is owned
by Dr. Sharon (our farm's
official vet) who is generously
loaning him to Split Elm as a
lesson horse.


Moose Tracks - 1999 16.3h
Quarter Horse.  Moose is a
great beginner's horse and has
very smooth gates. He is a
great horse to learn to canter
on since he is so slow and
smooth.

Prince Edmund - 2004 9h
miniature horse. Eddie is a
super mini. He drives, gives
pony rides and is even broke
for small children to ride.

Moe Money - 2001 15h Morgan
gelding. Moe is quiet enough to
be ridden by a beginner and is
talented enough to jump with
an advanced rider.


Alinghi - 2003 17h Warmblod/TB
gelding. Leo is a school master
for dressage.


Peter Pan aka Pete the horse -
1999 15h AQHA gelding. Pete is
a fancy little hunter horse. He is
a blast to jump and trail ride.


Sir Mannington - 2001 16h
Morgan gelding. Manny is an
experienced endurance horse
and Novice level eventer.
Manny is leased by Morgan.



Zee - 2008 16h AQHA gelding.
Zee is a beautiful, fun horse! He
is great for trails and he has a
very smooth canter! Zee is
leased by Linda and Dana.

Myrtle - 2005 14h Morgan mare.
Myrtle is a speedy yet calm
pony. She is a great jumper and
excels at games and trail
riding. Myrtle is leased by
Sydney.

Camilo - 2006 15h Lusitano
gelding. Camilo was formerly a
dressage and trail horse. He
now events BN and has shown
IHSA!


Dublin Away - 2013 16.2 TB
gelding. Dublin is eventing at
BN level and will move up in
2019.



Cha Cha - 2007 16h Pinto mare.
Cha Cha is very sweet, knows
lower level dressage and
events at Novice level. Cha
Cha is leased by Sam.

Quincy - 2006 14.2 QH Gelding.
Quincy is beginner safe and
quiet on trails. Quincy is a very
cute jumper and gives new
riders confidence over jumps.


Sweetie - 1999 15.2 Paint mare.
Sweetie has competed in
jumpers and eventing before
taking a year off to be a
broodmare. She is back to work
and getting fit. Sweetie is
Leilani's mother and is leased
by Kendall
