Split Elm Equestrian Center
Split Elm Equestrian, run by the Morrongiello family, was
founded in November of 2000 when the Morrongiellos bought
with a 18 stall barn and four 2-3 acre fields. One of the fields was
converted into a riding arena and the other three are used for
turnout. Split Elm II (the adult's barn) is a 50 acre property with
another 20 stall barn and six paddocks. The idea for the Split Elm
name came from the presence of a magnificent Elm tree located
at Split Elm I. The farm house, also located at the first property,
was built in 1836 and has been restored for modern use, while
maintaining the historic and rustic feel.
